Voice and Vision is a contemplative workshop that brings together visual journaling and voice as complementary ways of listening, sensing and expressing. Drawing inspiration from the sketchbooks of Leonardo da Vinci - where observation, curiosity, words and images lived side by side - participants will work in simple sketchbooks using pencil, collage, and writing to explore personal vision without the pressure of making finished artwork. This happens in dialogue with guided voice work led by Gudrun Buhler. Through deep exploration of the five principal vowels we tap into internal spaces of freedom and selfconnection. The work follows closely what Lilly Lehmann, one of the most successful voice teachers of all time, described in her book "How to sing". An intimate connection with ones own voice is a natural way to uplift. To discover your true authentic sound is to be connected to the stream of life within.The workshop invites participants into a gentle, human experience of creativity as a living process - supported by the historic and cultural environment of the Museo Tuscolano Scuderie Aldobrandini.
